Grading Scale

Grading Scale

The grading scale for our report cards is reported out using numbers. On the top of your child’s papers you may see a 3, 2, or 1. There will be some papers/work we do together or use as practice that we will not necessarily give a number grade.

It’s also important to note that our Math Homework (the sheets sent home) are NOT graded on achievement but on being responsible to complete the work and return it to school. It is our hope that homework helpers will look these sheets over and help the student if needed. We do also take some time to go over the more difficult problems in class.

These are the numbers you will see on some papers as well as the report card.
